Nora Vitz Harrison

Words. Pictures. Experiences. Nora has spent more than 20 years putting them together to help her Fortune 500 clients create effective communication programs. She has coached executives. She’s produced publications for worldwide distribution. She’s created branding strategies, edited magazines and worked as a reporter at the Barcelona Olympic Games. In 1987 Nora was at the forefront of a business revolution when she formed her company, Echo Publications, as a virtual corporation. Her team members work from wherever it makes the most sense. In 2009 the company changed its name to Three60 Communications to reflect its broad range of services. For 10 years, Nora’s company produced a bimonthly magazine for AT&T global business customers. Her client list includes Microsoft, ARAMARK, Freightliner Trucks, Lucent Technologies and the Ford Family Foundation. Nora has ghostwritten books for others; her own book, Dear Kilroy (inspired by her volunteer work with animals), is in its second printing. Nora is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Redlands in communications. She earned a master’s degree in English from the University of Sydney, Australia. Nora lives in Oregon with her husband, Jon, a real rocket scientist, and her black Labrador, Delancey. When she’s not working, she loves to hike, which is Delancey’s favorite hobby, too.

Tidbit few would guess: I know how to ride a unicycle.
For life balance: I volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind. I’ve trained five puppies for the program. Every time I see a guide dog working beside his blind partner, I still get goose bumps.
Sports trivia: I played point guard (third string) on a men’s intramural basketball team in graduate school.
Favorite drink: Ice cold water from my canteen when I reach the summit on a hike.
